Our Fleet
In 1993, Niagara helicopters replaced its entire fleet with a brand-new fleet of five six-seater 206 LIIIs (LongRanger), the LongRanger model being one of the quietest machines in its class and by far the most reliable single-engine helic
opter manufactured today. The new helicopters first flew for the 1993 season.
The following year (June, 1994), Niagara Helicopters traded in one 206 LIII and took delivery of the 1000th helicopter manufactured by Bell Helicopter Textron at their Canadian plant, which was also the first Bell 206LT (light twin) helic
opter built for a Canadian customer. The 206LT is another variant of the ever-popular LongRanger.
In 1996, the company replaced this entire fleet with Bell Helicopter's newest LongRanger variant, the Bell 407 (Technical Info is available). The 407 is a four-bladed helicopter and wit
h the brand new Quiet Cruise Capability, it is even quieter than the 206 LIII.
